Jaguars live alone and basically They are active at night. A jaguar can quickly climb trees like a leopard and hide and lie in wait. They are also good swimmers and sometimes eat fish. With the help of its powerful claws and jaws, the jaguar can kill large prey such as tapirs, monkeys, and deer. Its main prey is peccary and capybara, but if it has to, it goes for reptiles and turtles and sometimes even crocodiles. Like other felines, this animal can reach high speeds and maintain it for a short time. For this reason, it has to get very close to its prey in order to catch it.
