1000% agree. It can all feel very boy who cried wolf to me sometimes, I guess because of the strategizing that can go into people's oversharing... Vulnerability for clout just gives me the ick. Forever aiming for that middle ground! Maybe one day I'll hit publish 😂

I loved reading this, especially after catching some snippets of your farm weekend on ig! It's funny you were talking about how you haven't written anything so personal since the 2010s... reading it made me nostalgic for that time! Back then I also comfortable enough to post my thoughts online. Not sure what happened, but sharing any type of thoughts online makes me second, tripple etc guess myself and I never publish 🥲

another render made with some glsl & gaussian splats — which when abstracted like this, feels to me like what I see or strain to remember when I’m trying to describe a dream just as it’s fading… not sure if that makes sense to anyone but me though 😂✨

I have yet to tire of gaussian splats. splats rendered in td, manipulated in glsl... everyone gets excited about how realistic splat renders are, but personally I have been really enjoying turning them into more abstract creations. but but... I had what felt like one tap collecting until this update. Like, I just clicked mint and it automatically minted from the eth in my wallet. now, even if my wallet is connectected im asked to top up ... so where am I toping up to? and the rewards I've made from others collecting me is somehow not spendable to collect. #imlost

i do know what you mean about pennies. at the same time i think a lot of new artists put a lot of effort into “drops” only to be disappointed bcs they don’t have a huge community of buyers ready and waiting for them… and minting can feel so important and weighted in those moments. whereas on rodeo anyways, the point is to share wips as far as i understand, which feels less like a fail if few ppl connect with what you share. Maybe also because I’m more used to doing long form gen art… but I like how easy it is to mint on rodeo/zora. I’m never shut out of supporting others for lack of funds and i found out today that me supporting others can also bring me pennies back if others mint from my mint 😯 Still need to play around on zora to compare and see how it works over there. But I guess foundation/fxhash/etc for big finished drops vs rodeo and zora for wips? or neither if that’s not your thing! anyways, thanks for thinking abt this w/me, your og answer to my question made me chuckle too ☺️

thanks, yes it helps a lot! So far rodeo feels easier to share work on but I have such a soft spot in my heart for anything zora related. Gonna keep my eye on the app 👌☺️✨
