gm ☕️ A few AI and gen art collections have been making headlines recently. 1. Deus Ex Machina by @cybersea via VividGallery (Bitcoin Ordinals), great reception, minted yesterday -pictured 2. NiceAunties, Auntieverse via @fellowship, public mint is today. Pictured 3. Flares by @0xfar via Gamma (Bitcoin Ordinals)

I was familiar with English auctions (I just didn't know that's how it was called) What was totally new to me was Dutch Auctions... And then they added rebates 😅

I’d seen dutch before actually! But I’m not sure I understand the mechanism… like the price goes down the more ppl buy but then doesn’t the first mint feel like … unfair? i’m sure i’m missing something though…

It goes down per time, but not when people buys. It is a pricing discovery tool for artists/marketplaces, not necessarily better for collectors Let’s say you don’t know how high you can sale it for? You do a Dutch auction that starts very high, maybe it sells much higher than you thought
