My hot take is that China opening up will jolt the global economy like never before. I’m actually struggling to find the appropriate word for what has been pent up for the past two years.. “Demand” would be an oversimplification.

might want to calculate the negative externalities in there too - eg, Japan & Korea getting ready for spillover waves & lockdowns as China's crematoriums are currently at capacity while they mutate new variants with 18+ R-naughts
