The first public beta of iOS 18.2: Now with ChatGPT support and more

Apple has launched public testing of iOS 18.2, which has several new and useful features available. The update number 22C5125e can already be downloaded "over the air" to compatible devices.

What's new:

• ChatGPT integration: Siri now supports ChatGPT, as well as Genmoji and Image Playground features.

• Share Location: You can now share the location of your devices, including AirTag, via the "Locator".

• New section in Apple Intelligence: a daily limit on ChatGPT requests is specified, and a ChatGPT Plus subscription is available for $19.99 per month.

• Optimization: Improved battery life and reduced device heating.

• Updated icons: In the "Settings" we added a border for icons to make them easier to see on a dark background.

• New camera settings: The iPhone 16 has an Auto focus and Exposure lock (AE/AF Lock) feature.

• iPhone Mirroring: Now supports int distribution mode
