Intel Corporation was founded by Robert Noyce and Gordon Moore on July 18, 1968. Noyce, a physicist and co-inventor of the integrated circuit, and Moore, a chemist and physicist known for Moore's Law, were pivotal figures in the development of the semiconductor industry.
