I made my first prediction on Polymarket today and the entire narrative of it hiding crypto and being A++ UX is just not at all true. It took me about 40m to get USDC on Polygon and then POL so I could send it. I eventually just gave up and a friend sent me $20 in POL.

@ashmoney.eth and i have spoken about this before re: football bets. switching costs from an l2 to polygon just to make some one-off bet are too high.

yeah, i'm sure it's the bridging that's difficult. why don't they come to an l2?

that's a good point. i still haven't gotten used to the fact that polygon is an l2 😅😅

why is it so much more difficult to move from base to polygon than from base to say optimism though?

Is Base built on op stack which makes it easier perhaps?
