imo the most harmful thing for ethereum recently has been the "make ethereum great again" messaging

it implies and concedes that ethereum is inferior — it is purely free marketing for solana

you do not need to make ethereum great "again" — it is already uniquely differentiated with its decentralization and security — not to mention the ETF and colossal market cap

you need to show the market why it's different and why people should care — consistently

and you need to do it with a super simple idea, because complex ideas don't spread

you are not going to be a better solana than solana, but you can easily be a much better ethereum

Simple messaging? "It works". Also, the UX with things like smartwallet feels superior now (it was the other way around). So maybe "it works and everyone can use it".

If you tell a Bitcoin or Solana holder: it works. I think you’ll just a confused look and that their chain works too.

Yeah, sorry, I meant the network itself. Let me rephrase. Bitcoin works, but you don't want to build anything else than financial transactions on top of it. Solana is superior with the dev environment, but it has massive problems with reliability. And, they don't have the simple onboarding similar to smartwallet afaik.
