Cats

Today, as I walked back from class, the cold air wrapped around me, making me feel a bit lost . I noticed a little kitten wandering aimlessly, just like I was. I tried to call it over, making soft sounds, hoping it would come closer, but it didn’t work. I couldn’t help but wish that this tiny creature could wear warm clothes, just like us, to feel safe and snug in the chilly weather. In that moment, it felt like we were both searching for warmth and comfort in a world that felt a little too cold.
