Photo of workers at the top of the tower One of the most famous photos in history and at the same time the most dangerous of them is an image of 11 men eating and smoking on top of a tower under construction. Taken on the 69th floor of the GE Building, this photo was featured as part of an advertising campaign for the massive skyscraper complex. Meanwhile, the photographer and the identity of most of the subjects remain a mystery.
