No. And I'm also not a capitalist. Both are 20th century ideologies. (And they are words that have been stretched and abused to the point of meaninglessness: remember, in the 1990s, Microsoft called Linux "communist": https://www.theregister.com/2000/07/31/ms_ballmer_linux_is_communism/ ) I support freedom, global equality of opportunity, kindness and cooperation, human welfare and progress. These are timeless principles. The question is how to use the tools we have available to achieve these values in the context of the 21st century. I've written at length about the kinds of mechanisms I personally support, but I definitely do not think that I am the only source of good ideas, I think figuring out the best approach is a shared project of both thinking and also increasingly real world experimentation.

I’d say more: incumbents solidifying their incumbency.

-It’s a fork of Liquity (which is 100% decentralized) -It supports LSTs OTHER than stETH -It’s on L2s, so no $2000 minimum mint -Airdrop potential -Adoption increases Eth demand

Tether and USDC are great and all, but this is crypto, and we need to be supporting a maximally decentralized stablecoin that is max aligned with crypto values. Gravita fits that for me, and I would love to learn about another project to support that has similar externalities.

I talk to multiple new people per day about crypto, thanks to the crypto question on everyone’s tax return I have to ask. Normies are not getting excited about crypto yet. I think we have a long runway ahead of us this bull market.

Gotcha. That I don’t know. I never used it as I’m not really into Bitcoin, and now I don’t remember what all I learned back when I posted that. I imagine you’re right though, that you can’t do that.

Was explaining crypto to someone the other day and the convo kept coming back to the fight for personal freedoms. Then I watched Dumb Money, felt inspired, and remembered crypto is way more revolutionary than Wall Street Bets. Revolution is why we’re here. It’s nice to remember that every now and then.

I’m completely with you. While the country was watching tv, I cleaned the kitchen and listened to a crypto podcast. I think I got the better end of that deal.
