Hi Im new here and still getting used to the platform… like where do I find my previous casts ans stuff (still no ideia). Anyways, tought I share one degen story I had in the last few years with crypto.

(1) In 2021 (I guess, dont remember), i was in the NFT hype, taking part in many new projects trying to find the next big thing. 

One of those definitely seemed weird, it was an NFT project called Wipe my A** (the design was basically a dirty toilet paper). Owining the NFT would yield you some $WIPE tokens.

(3) I went to the pool to check it out and for my surprise I saw over 3 milion % APY for liquidity providers. It obviously seemed like a mistake, and this would dilute with more liquidity but I had some $WIPE tokens and little USDC (like 20 or something) in my wallet and added to the pool before going to dinner.

(4) Once I got back from my 30 minutes or so dinner I went back to check the pool and to my surprise, it had yielded over 100USD in $WIPE on that time alone. The APY declined a little bit, but I decided to double down, and even called my degen friend to join me.

(5) We basically spent the entire night awake (I had to work the following day) just staking and harvesting from that pool, watching as our $WIPE continued to grow, but always afraid the entire thing would just collapse. Now that I am thinking about it, it sounds a lot like a pyramid scheme (the office meme).

(6) At the end of the day we somehow survided it, my 20 USD became over 3k USD and the entire thing collapsed not long after (good timing).

Sorry for the long text, Just tough I could share a good Degen story. I am probably getting too old to keep doing this type of things, but who knows 😅.

(2) So, as any sane person would do, I minted 7 of them. It obviously flopped after a few weeks, but the most degen part is probably yet to come.

One day, shortly after the minting phase was over, I got a notification from the project’s discord saying that they created a liquidity pool for the token (cool).
