The biggest challenge for OpenAI is they are in bed with Microsoft who doesn’t have a mobile operating system with default voice assistant or browser.

Why? As a consumer, Alexa/Google Assistant are not minimally viable for anything but switching on/off lights. I’d pay a lot of money for ChatGPT+Whisper+Text-to-speech (which I’m sure OpenAI are working on) in a box. At a bare minimum, it’ll be my pair programming buddy, and is at MVP for that.

It's about defaults.

What about when there’s a 10x difference? I also worried about this with Apple/Siri when I was at Alexa because who can beat AirPods+iPhone integration, but still a lot of people who own iPhones+Mac+AirPods primarily use Alexa or Google Assistant devices?

Well also, Apple is an Azure customer, so maybe things can work that way...
