it's much easier to convince unsophisticated base supporters that you're winning in the future if you start by creating a such a tremendous low-base effect that it's all but impossible to achieve growth from there they're not sufficiently capable of independent thought to recognize that they'll be worse off net-net

Disagree with this mentality. Smart people on both sides and everyone thinks the "other" side is dumb. Meanwhile everyone gets their information from the internet machine that is optimized for inflammatory statements praying on human emotion. Click click Unsure if they are taking the right approach but the debt is a huge problem they are trying fix. Only reason the U.S. and dollar isn't f**ked is because every other nation was equally as irresponsible.

I personally think the current admin has highly intelligent people doing things I hope at least some of them turn out to be net positive, but I have my doubts I don't think either of our major political parties has the best interest of Americans at heart

But I also am not sure that the best way to tackle debt problems is to take a chainsaw to the gov't across the board in the most highly partisan way possible while using a huge part of the savings to apparently fund a tax cut rather than cut debt I'm five days into a fever that keeps coming back, so take these hot takes with a grain of salt

Yes 💯 sadly Humans will always use politics for their own gain and it ends up mostly being a game of optics and semantics haha Market is definitely rightly "uncertain"
