The heat of a take now has me pondering, what if one was to make a chilled, fresh take? That's surely as good as a hot take?

Is it correct to pronounce that "tar-kay" like latte?

In my travels around the US, I've heard so many atrocious pronunciations of words that the English language has borrowed from other languages 

"lar-tay" is far from the worst of it

I suppose maybe "lah-tay" aswell, I'm from south east England where nobody speaks good
