Was debating whether to cast this in /politics or /parenting  🥴

I want my kids to be educated, but more importantly, informed. There are too many people (including many in my family) who are completely oblivious to the US’s political happenings rn. It’s crazy to me.

There are too many people siloed into their entertainment of choice, blissfully unaware of the world around them. Others are flat out consuming lies and treating it as news. Anyway, thanks for educating your kids.

That first sentence perfectly describes my brother. Love him to death, but for as educated as he is, he is so unaware of anything going on. Also, pretty sure he voted for Trump in 2016 based on a Facebook infographic showing he would pay less tax under him, and this year based on the promised BTC pump 🙄
