Degen

I’m grateful that $DEGEN allowed to build and participate on Farcaster. $DEGEN helped me through a period of unemployment. It was $DEGEN that provided me with food when my job closed due to Helene, and last month I was finally able to visit an optometrist. 

Today I can’t claim. I also don’t care. I worked countless hours last year to onboard people to $DEGEN, Farcaster, and Base. No one cared. Onboarding was never valued by the network nor was it sustainable without funding. I shut it down. 

I prioritized helping others instead of making money. While I was answering DM’s at 3am, it was the farmers and grifters who were rewarded. every. single. time. 

Lesson learned. 

Those who extracted thousands of dollars were unbanned, but my $90 was the problem. $DEGEN might be giving second chances, but I don’t. 

If you need my $50 claim so bad then keep it. I won’t endorse a token that has left its community unable to pay their rent today.
