2/ MEV is a big topic and inherent in some form across all chains, but let’s try and keep it simple. MEV, at its best, allows markets to price transactions and reward participants in network operations; at its worst, it allows third parties to see transactions and extract value at users' expense—like sandwich attacks.

3/ The goal of most blockchains is to shepherd MEV to those most aligned with the chain's mission. This is where Primev comes in: MEV-commit is a network for exchanging execution bids and commitments.

4/ A bidder specifies what type of execution service (let’s just call it a transaction) they want, and the provider commits to executing that service for a small fee. The bidder is assured their transaction will be executed as specified, and the provider gets paid.
