I've done that in the past for some non-contest pieces - in this case I would say: 1. Definitely publish FIRST on t2 because for it to count in the contest it has to be new material... 2. Probably wait at least a few days (or maybe after contest ends) to cross-post to Paragraph or other media outlets. 3. Could definitely use separate short Paragraph article about the t2 contest to drive your Paragraph readers to your t2 piece and build engagement/time points!

You get a little from writing each piece, but you get most (on your own stories) when people read them (you just got 11 points from me!) - and you yourself earn it (again) a little bit from the writing, but mostly from reading articles that interest you!
