If I examine the persistent attackers in this game, many of them seem to be throwaway accounts with few followers and no one to follow them. They must be playing nice on their main account. Maybe it is someone with whom I normally interact in a friendly manner. As I continue to play this game, I distrust people more and more. Why not make it optional, rather than mandatory, to participate in the battle? I prefer to keep the fire burning quietly. Only those who want to fight should do so.
