Annoying that I’m agreeing with Chamath, but strongly agree with his POV on this week’s episode re: US and USD.

They china can depeg their currency in the future, his argument assumes a static monetary policy. In fact its in their long term interest to depeg and fully control their liquidity

Partly depends on the price of other currencies at that point in time. Just trying to say that chamaths argument rested on fixed assumptions

What happens to the relative cost of their exports in that scenario? :)
