The Winklos twins, famous Bitcoin investors, each donated the equivalent of $1 million in Bitcoin to Donald Trump's election campaign. This amount exceeded the legal limit of $844,600 per person and the excess was returned. It is not yet clear whether the refund was paid in Bitcoin or cash.
