🪙 16 years ago, on October 31, 2008, the Bitcoin Whitepaper was published by Satoshi Nakamoto, the still anonymous creator of the first cryptocurrency.

The nine-page technical document titled “A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System” described the principle of operation of the peer-to-peer payment system, which later revolutionized the world of financial technology.

The launch of the first cryptocurrency network took place in January 2009, and in April 2011, Satoshi disappeared, and the public has never been able to find out who wrote the document underlying the trillion-dollar industry.
