He's guven so much to the team in the past year. The team has been struggling in his absence in recent weeks, almost disappearing from the title race. You were 3-0 down at HT against Brugge and subbed him on as you needed a miracle He scores a goal and misses a pen and all of a sudden he's to blame for you losing 5-2 on aggregate. Horrible from Gasperini!

He shouldn’t have taken the penalty. His goals last season deserve respect, but he shouldn’t have taken the penalty. Atalanta has two penalty takers, De Ketelaere and Retegui, and at this level, the cost of a mistake is very high. Due to his miss, the club lost a significant amount of money, just like how they lost money because of Theo Hernandez’s red card.

That's bollocks!!! Theo Hernandez team was level on goals. They had a chance. Atalanta needed 4 more goals to qualify in very limited time. Lookman shouldn't have taken it but the coach is very very wrong for pinning the whole thing on him.
