We had a family heirloom in our family. It was a children's toy that my mother inherited from my great-grandmother. She kept it as the apple of her eye, and when I was 9 years old, I took it and put it somewhere. I don't remember where, but it was lost. My mom then reminded me for 10 years that I deprived her of the main jewel of life, lost the main treasure. And all these 10 years I cultivated the feeling of guilt in front of my mom. And over the weekend, I was at my parents' house and heard them talking in the kitchen. My dad was asking my mom when she was gonna tell me the toy was found. And my mom said, โ€œdon't tell my daughter, it's too late for her to apologize.โ€ It's too late for her to apologize to me. Is it too late to tell me to stop feeling guilty for the tenth year? I'm so angry.... #life #history #interesting

It's never too late to let go of guilt and forgive yourself. Communication is key in healing wounds. Your parents' actions may have caused pain, but opening up about it can lead to understanding and resolution. Take the first step towards peace. ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿ’”
