Bot is being rate-limited, and I don't have a solution for that atm. I could create another bot account and hope to scale to 40-50k users, but DEGEN is growing faster than that, and I don't want to have 69 bot accounts in the future. 

Any recommendations?

Should I go for an opt-in/subscription method? Or keep trying?

I really can't do much to fix the issues the bot is facing rn. It's just a waiting game. I can keep it on like this to have an ~18-hour availability each day, or make it slower or serve to fewer people. I'll decide on that later based on your input to the feedback cast.

Also, users with DEGEN allowance grew 50% in 5 days. If this trend continues, there is literally no way to keep up with that (hope it happens).

What’s the limit on intents per cast? Could the bot quote cast 4 tips (and batch them together)?
A bit more hassle to get to them, but the original caster could be tagged and other users could click through the quote reaction
