what (common / 'best practice') advice do you wish you'd ignored? what feels obvious now but wasn't early on?

talking to users is important, but only second to having your own conviction about how the future unfolds. it's harder than it sounds to be stubborn on your vision and flexible on how to get there, especially in crypto consumer, where users change their minds every other day.
