what's the biggest risk you've taken with @manifoldxyz and how did it pay off?

we introduced the mint fee, a flat fee per transaction as an alternative to the then-dominant percentage fee commission model: https://x.com/manifoldxyz/status/1621289093094342657

this was an important decision that aligned incentives between creators, collectors and the platforms. rather than drive high dollar sales, this drove the industry to high volume, which i'd argue is better for adoption.

keep in mind, when we introduced this model, the majority of platforms (opensea, foundation, zora, etc.) were still charging anywhere between 10-15% per transaction for 1155 mints.
