What are the strongest arguments for and against L3s? Assuming they’re properly secured (zk or fault dispute game).

For: More things onchain, more decentralization.
Against: More complexity (MEV, bugs, confusing UX, etc)

For—Cheap
Against—vulnerable to every chain/level above you

For: degens have their own chain

Against: dependent on everything above it that it’s derived from

L3s should be used for app chain instead of general purpose eco.
