I’m not sure I understand the outrage here, which looks largely fabricated by an alt-news website riddled with ads and merely reposting random Twitter opinions to create this zero-calorie clickbait. The former PM of Sri Lanka had published his vision in a 2018 article posted on the WEF website. How is the WEF responsible for the apparent failure of this vision? If the PM had published his article in the NYT times, surely we wouldn’t be holding the NYT for the policy failure. Even if the NYT had subsequently deleted the article. It’s possible that the WEF wields too much influence on the world’s policies, as the article states, but that’s not substantiated at all by the reporting
