This screen isn’t necessary, @warpcast should axe it imo - imagine all of the cumulative seconds wasted looking at this screen, how many years of human life go down the drain making sure their cast is spelled correctly or whatever

It means “a general purpose computer”! One way of simplifying the idea in terms of technical equivalency is that I would like this app to spin off a Linux VM for each discrete object that is photographed and isolated with Dia. I don’t literally want to do this, because it would be insanely expensive, but I want to get close to what this equivalency implies. If every discrete object in the world was like a link or pointer to a tract of general purpose compute, I think it would be pretty interesting in terms of how people could build “on” a system like this
