It takes 450 years for these bottles to decompose. In the meantime, let's make sure they serve a purpose for humanity. 🌍♻️

Used bottles transformed into a vertical garden with a Nouns touch! 🌱 Plastic waste now becomes home to fresh vegetables, supported by Flows. When blockchain technology meets environmental conservation, small changes create big impact. #FromWasteToHarvest

Milestone update: Successfully collected 100 plastic bottles for our vertical garden! Already assembled in a simple bamboo greenhouse with help from neighbors. Lettuce seedlings are still growing and will soon be transplanted into this system. Next steps: - Waiting for lettuce to mature for transplanting - Collecting more used bottles - Preparing hydroponic nutrients One step towards zero waste, one plant towards local food security

TRASH isn't something that comes out of our homes; it's something we bring into them. Our homes don't produce trash.

Today's progress from 'From Waste to Harvest' 🌱♻️ 1.Collected used water gallons from neighbors to be transformed into hydroponic containers. Turning plastic waste → productive garden system! 2.Started seeding with 2 different media: Lettuce Pakcoy (Bok Choy) using rockwool and organic media for community experimentation. Thank you to all neighbors who donated gallons and helped with today's seeding process! Together we're learning to create a sustainable community garden 💚 FlowsGrant #WasteToHarvest #CommunityGarden

The fact is, each time we bring an action to protect the environment, we are implicitly asserting that the environment should have rights

We should give legal rights to forests, oceans, rivers, and other so-called 'natural objects' in the environment – indeed, to the natural environment as a whole.

What we are doing to the forests of the world is but a mirror reflection of what we are doing to ourselves and to one another.

Goodbye global warming Wellcome to global boiling. The shift from global warming to global boiling represents a period in which the Earth experiences not only an increase in average temperatures but also a heightened occurrence and severity of heatwaves that pose significant challenges to our ecosystems, society, and economy.
