On December 17, Solana processed 66.9 million transactions, exceeding the total of other major blockchains, and accounted for over half of daily active addresses. Decentralized trading on Solana also thrived, with a daily transaction volume of approximately $5 billion, driven in part by the launch of Pudgy Penguins' token PENGU.
