What is staking? 
Staking is a method of earning rewards and participating in the validation of transactions and providing security in blockchain networks based on the Proof of Stake (PoS) mechanism. In this method, network users, known as validators, lock or stake a certain amount of the network's native cryptocurrency in a smart contract and participate in the transaction validation process, in return for which they receive rewards from the network.
