Because it is. They tested an ad about a year ago for Warpfest / Warpcon or whatever it was called. As an aside, if there’s never going to be a WC/FC token the only way to pay back the 200M investment into Warpcast is ads. Either at the protocol level or just by being the de facto Farcaster client.

I can totally see that, but personally it felt like a feature announcement. I immediately went to select rainbow because it is my preferred wallet. That being said, I'd actually like to see more warpcast features announced like this (with an option to turn it off of course)
