Captured by Giovanni Passalacqua on April 27, 2022, this breathtaking pre-dawn image reveals a tilted triangle created by three of the brightest celestial objects visible from Earth: Jupiter, Venus, and the Moon. Despite its thin waning crescent phase, the Moon's disk is discernible due to earthshine. Venus, positioned at the center, and Jupiter, on the left, are approximately three degrees apart, approaching a close conjunction. The photograph was taken about an hour before sunrise near the southern tip of Sicily.
