Hey DV, yes, nashi is a type of pear, but it’s different from the Western varieties I also love. Nashi is crisp, juicy, and refreshingly sweet, with an apple-like texture but a distinctly pear-like flavor. If you like pear you definitely gotta try it

Somehow managed to get one in Spain last summer and was left completely mindblown. Amazing flavour and texture.
