Last year I wrote a smart contract that generates bitmaps onchain. Tomorrow I'm actually using it for something. It's a toy project, but damn, waited a whole year to put that thing to use 🙃

Feeling you. I have like 3 projects I’m working on for more than two years (all combined), all 80-95% done for a good while now. Just started to pick one up again to finally finish it. Not quite the same as in your case, but some things just have their own timing.

I create generative art, pixelart and music and all combined.

Absolutely that. Sometimes it can feel like you don't get things done, but when you come back to it you even have that delightful "not that bad after all" moment and you can easily pick up again.

I saw a post recently saying that you should let go of projects that you aren't actively working on. Couldn't be me.

Sometimes it's not the right time for things. Doesn't mean I have to waste time actively thinking about those shelved projects, but I've had a lot of fun and some success coming back to things.
