This is the shape of response that a client expects when it sends a GET request to your action URL

hmm but if it's the same route as your action URL wouldn't it just return the rendered HTML for that page?

Nope rendered HTML doesn’t exist for cast actions But does for composer actions and there the POST returns a JSON that specifies which URL has the Page to show, while the GET returns the metadata Explainer: https://dtech.vision/farcaster/miniapps/quickstart-farcaster-composer-actions/

I think this is the GET (to render the name, description, icon, etc. in the “actions store”) and the HTML response is the POST (which sends a request with the composer context when a user selects your action)
