ga -- wanted to quickly give some farcasterkit.com updates! this is going to be a bit of a long thread, but expect more updates & casts over the next few weeks as well!

the TLDR is that hooks & components for fc auth and neynar auth + reads/writes will be released in the near future, along with new docs & example apps

i launched farcaster kit about a month ago as an attempt to build a viem.sh / docs.lens.xyz style pacakge for fc. some key principles i had in mind were:
- write modules that make fc access easy
- support multiple data providers/plugins
- expose an API on the replicator

i started to focus on auth because i felt it was more challenging and a common pain point for devs, and that exposing more data + reshaping the api wouldn't be as difficult. 

signups are *very* close, I'm just fixing one issue calling the Bundler then all I need to do is add styling + deploy -- hoping for next week

on sunday i saw @dwr.eth's bounty for a RN app w/ neynar, and funny enough i had spent time earlier in the day building auth and casting hooks for neynar in nextjs

i had always wanted to fully build out a NeynarProvider as well as a full fledged example app for farcaster kit(and RN in general), so I jumped on it

right now the NeynarProvider is in litecast(the RN app), but once I finish a few more hooks I'll move the provider to farcasterkit's package & release new docs and a video tutorial going over how to make a RN app powered by neynar and farcaster kit

so to recap, here's where things are at for FarcasterKit

out in the next few weeks: NeynarProvider, signup & signin components with an EOA/Warpcast, new website + docs

longer term: smart account & passkey support, API upgrades, move to the new replicator, build out more examples

also, i'm going to start listing what's in progress/up next using github issues -- right now to keep track but as I launch updates I'm going to release contributor guidelines to the project!

last thing: this is something i'll ramp up as parts of farcaster kit become more helpful for building end-to-end apps, but i'm also more than happy to chat if you see a potential integration, have ideas/questions, or want to help out!

the first version was very basic -- it exposed an api only for casts and users, plus hooks and modules to access that data. after launch, i knew there were two key things I had to build out to get to what I'd consider a proper 1.0:
- build an auth component
- extend read & write capabilities of the api & its hooks
