Message Broadcasting: - status.warpcast.com — having issues with job broadcasting - /neynar <> /warpcast sync — issues with ingestion for certain message types, working on shuttle improvements so /neynar can migrate - hub performance issues — seeing grpc timeouts, long time to writes on /warpcast hubs under heavy load investigating issues

Storage Extension: - FIP: Storage Extension -- https://github.com/farcasterxyz/protocol/discussions/191 - Goal is to make it easier for users to stay on FC - Increasing storage duration for all existing users by 1 year - Reducing size of new storage units going forward - Rollout shortly — no impact to existing users or devs, hubs need to upgrade

Sign In with Farcaster -- cc @dwr.eth and @horsefacts.eth - Great feedback that SIWF is helpful & being used, but focused on reliability from ~10-15% of people who can't scan the QR code - Want to get reliability up before adding scope(eg. support other wallets like Supercast) - Small changes: shorten SIWF URL to simplify QR code, shorten channel tokens to 8 characters(could even have magic link code-like UI) More on the new SIWF changes: https://warpcast.notion.site/Improve-SIWF-70d5b730f2cd4679bfd5b36abc72cfb9

Now onto Warpcast Updates: Feed Improvements - thinking about how the construction of your feed changes as you add more/less users - one thing observed: if you follow someone who cast a lot, that/those high volume users show up a bit too much in your feed, becomes self reinforcing - rolling out experiment to boost content you're not always seeing, if successful will roll out to a broader group of users - power badge deprecation: out of app and sunset at end of Aug. found it's not a great measure for priority notifications etc, have better systems in place for this(instead of identify by power badge, start with weeding spammy users out) ^ /neynar is continuing to run a power badge API that can be used
