so many old tidbits/projects/learnings from like 5+ years ago are slowly starting to become relevant to me and it's *super* interesting to watch(espc from projects or patterns that i thought would be fully gone but seem to be thriving!)

back in 2017 or so before i was focused on crypto as we call it today, i was super into the idea of a decentralized web -- namely as some big FAANG companies were starting to get investigated/scrutinized for their data practices

i was really into this project called gundb and while i had thought it wasn't as used or actively lately, this ddocs.new project from fileverse uses it & it actually seems like a lot of other folks do too! funny to see that coming full circle
