stated preference: build a fancy native app with all the bells and whistles

revealed preference: optimize for a core feature and making that easy to use, even if the user has to add the site to your homepage 

(in a lot of these cases at least)

feels like the pwa route makes even more sense for this sector rn given how much easier tools like smartwallet.dev make things to focus on getting features/products out the door quickly
