kinda wild that site-building platforms like wordpress and wix are still charging outrageous subscription prices for hosting simple sites, yet i'm able to host ~15 projects all with connected domains on my /vercel hobby(free) account

i can see how wordpress is useful for some folks and the amount of cooking framer lets designers do is insane -- but other than that so many of these tools are just moats/low effort

it's an incredible business at a certain scale. but very competitive so you end up with a ridiculous amount going into advertising.
