finding myself explaining Farcaster/what I do to a lot more folks lately and as much as I want to make the “user owned content/social network with LEGO blocks” argument click off the bat, I haven’t had much success with it & end up falling back to something about a crypto Twitter with a better audience that’s unrugable made me realize there’s a huge difference between today’s value prop and tomorrow’s value prop, even if we want to head towards the tomorrow

I’ll also add that my first argument about user owned content actually does work for *some* people, but those folks usually know/care a bit more about data ownership, a new Internet, social media companies closing their APIs etc

It can be challenging to convey complex concepts initially. Maybe we need to find a middle ground for now to build understanding
