1) Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) has saved U.S. taxpayers $36.7 billion, though this is just 1.8% of his $2 trillion spending cut target.

2) Felix Hartmann, founder of Hartmann Capital, believes the crypto market may be near a bottom, pointing to extended negative funding rates and bearish sentiment as indicators.

3) Bitcoin's price dropped below $100,000 on Feb. 4, as concerns over the global trade war between the United States and China affected market sentiment.

4) Bill Barhydt, CEO of Abra, has made bold predictions about Bitcoin and Ethereum, suggesting that Bitcoin could reach as high as $700,000 in the current cycle.

Trust vs Hype 

Some days a new app launches. It goes to #1 in the App Store. Everyone goes crazy. People talk about how everything is changing. 

Then a week later it’s gone. 

And I’m reminded why trust and community and relationships are what matter.

We’ve been building XMTP for years. Decentralized and secure messaging is incredibly important for the world. We will have an app be #1 in the App Store someday, but what matters most is the trust to use and build on something that will be here for the future of the internet. 

Wanna spend time with more people playing the long game and working hard to earn and build trust with their community, team, and users.
