It’s an important signal to your crew, and it should free up time for you to focus on what you do best.

In every company I’ve been through, I always felt that the leaders liked to be the ones who knew more, not necessarily those who spread knowledge like wildfire... It’s quite sad... When I was promoted for the first time, I made a point of teaching everything I knew to all my team members. Result? I was promoted to regional manager of the stores and I’m still in that role today.
