More of a FC question. are usernames permanent? If an inactive account has the one i want, i can't get it right?

During the beta we plant to periodically release inactive usernames

We'll send an email to all inactive users (haven't been back in >2 weeks) before releasing the names. If they don't come back, we'll release the name.

What’s the definition of inactive in this context? I’ve found myself following the same pattern in Farcaster as in many other communities I’ve joined, reading frequently but not posting for the first several months.
