Personally, I like quote casting to cross-pollinate between channels & open discourse with different communities. I like reply threading when engaging with the original caster & others who have already shared thoughts. They each work well; though I would say that UI for multiple replies could be improved to more easily follow chains of replying

quote casts are “me me me” culture, replies are more “we we we” I quote cast all the time because I love to broadcast but I also miss the days when there was just enough friction where people replied more than quoted

Exactly! Or for a channel audience too, eg, moving from /photography to /nature Have you put thought into the reply UI? Have had some conversations with @ted and others in replies about this topic and it ironically ended up becoming incredibly confusing to follow the order/understand how many subsequent replies there were
