Been using Windsurf and have been blown away by its abilities

this is really interesting. imo, it depends: 

1. how many hrs a senior engineer have to put in to 1) review Devin's work, and 2) train Devin on in house code, and 3) integrate Devin in daily workflow; 

2. how the above cost + 500$/month combined compare to the cost of hiring a real human junior engineer whose skill is slightly above average level. 

Estimation (based on our experience working w/ AI coding tools & agents): right now Devin cannot completely replace a human junior engineer. 

But it is getting closer. Every engineer will be head of his own AI agent teams in near future. 

If AI engineer can completely replace, or 90% replace human junior-mid level engineer, then <1000$/month flat rate is v reasonable since we are comparing labor costs, not software costs.
